This is an annual event, however it has not taken place in the past two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mentors and learners from various schools and Rotarians attended a one-week leadership course.

The busy week challenged attendees’ values, attitudes, knowledge and skills and leadership competencies.

A group of Grade 11 learners from various schools also visited the South Coast Herald last Wednesday.

The learners wanted to explore how a newspaper is run.

They met with the editorial, sales and production departments and chatted to staff, also gaining some knowledge.
